Rocky Kistner: BP Protest in the Gulf; the Oil's Not Gone

Exactly a year ago, former White House energy advisor Carol Browner informed the world that 75% of the oil from the worst oil disaster in history had been cleaned up, evaporated and dispersed or burned off. “Mother Nature did her part,” Browner told the world.

Don’t tell that to Cherri Foytlin, the oil worker’s wife and mother of six who walked from the Gulf to Washington for the one-year memorial of the BP blowout last April. The media has been largely silent since then, so Cherri and others decided they needed to remind people that “the oil is not gone.”

Yesterday, protesters staged a protest at BP’s gleaming downtown New Orleans offices, where they dumped a batch of black gooey tar balls freshly hauled in from the beaches of Mississippi. After sitting in front of the BP's office building doorway for three hours as police tried to convince them to move, Cherri and two other protesters were arrested and booked for trespass later in the evening. But they had made their point.

It was a brilliant and brave move by a small group led by Cherri Foytlin. Bravo to them.

But why aren't more American upset with the lies BP continues to spew out - "the GULF has recovered back to its pristine condition before the spill".

Would people still go to all the trouble of protesting if all the oil is gone?

Wake up people. By the time you smell the corexit, it would be too late.

To even move towards a time that the oil will be partially "Gone", the wells would have to no longer be leaking oil. The leaks have to be stopped before any cleaning, clearing, dispersion / dissipation to take place.

That's a tall order, TR. My guess is they never wanted the leaks to stop in the first place. They wanted to fool the people into believing the leaks had stopped.

They even killed for it. Given the choice to stop the leaks; the real leaks on the seabed and the other the whistle-blower leaks. Guess which they chose?

Yep, found it more monetarily feasible to stop the whistle-blowers "leaks" rather than the actual oil leaks.

Exactly TR.

Thanks for the seed, BK!

Welcome Etva.

The oil spill thing was getting off the radar screen. The leaks are probably worse now as they had spread far and wide, in periodic bursts rather than concentrated in a few vertical columns.

Before the marine life could physically sense the oil and gas spew zones and move away (for those which were not dead yet). But now, they are slowly being killed by the lower but widespread toxicity. Same with the immediate victims residing in the Gulf Zone. The true effect will be slow in coming.

Eventually the long-term consequences will be felt around the world if they aren't now.

Anyone that still believes that there are no leaks of ocean oil wells doesn't read the news on the Internet.

BP and Conoco Oil, both have problems with ocean oil well leaks. From China Daily: Remote satellite sensing and a survey made by a patrol boat of the sea area on Wednesday and Thursday, both conducted by the China State Oceanic Administration (SOA), identified several oil belts in an area of 4.6 square kilometers to the east of the Penglai 19-3 oilfield, though ConocoPhilips's oil-cleaning efforts continue.

Precisely Mstanley. What the majority read is tightly controlled and we call them the Free Press.

Thanks for the update.

The big three, BP, Conoco, and Shell all have oil spills.. IMO that they don't have a problem with it, business as usual.

BK - when we have cases against BP in court being dismissed because judge's fail to understand or choose to ignore evidence to the contrary - BP et al will proceed at an ever increasing pace/race to destroy what's left in untainted waters, soils. Just like the banks have increased leverage to an insane level, creating risk that inevitably will bring down our entire global financial structure. No stopping this evil, unless ??.

Nevertheless, I want to thank you for your continuing efforts to support the people of the gulf who need it desperately.

- 7 mile slick found in gulf, believed to be from BP macondo well. Florida oil spill law

- "The judge ruled that because the Macondo well is dead and no longer discharging oil, plaintiffs' only claims are confined to seeking environmental citizen suit injunctive relief of a prospective nature to stop noncompliance in the form of a continued release of oil. Thus, the citizen suit claims brought by the plaintiffs are moot, because no future-orientated injunction can provide any meaningful relief for plaintiffs in terms of stopping discharges that already concluded in mid-July 2010."

Thanks ETH for your continuing support. Evil draws their strength from the same pool of people who could tilt the balance towards GOOD.

TPTB may appear strong and unsinkable (Titanic comes to mind) but continuing erosion of their support will undermine their foundation and eventually collapse the empire from the bottom.

I was told scum rises to the top in all circumstances. Hence the gradual and continuing erosion of support is the best way.

Anything built the evil way will eventually give way. It is the mass conversion of the ordinary folks, folks who are the first to get hit in any crisis, we need to wake up before the corexit knock them off completely.

You are welcome BK

BTW Lindsey Williams appeared on Alex Jones 6/22/11 discussing what plans the TPTB have for us and the NWO.

part5/9

Very interesting.

I have been tracking him for some time now and a good deal of what he says is spot on. Not all. Not even the elite can control everything:)

Thanks will look it up. Only ones who can tell exactly what will happen - is GOD and the evil ones who plan it.
