Aguinaga's blood has tested positive for high levels of chemicals present in BP's oil, and he described his ailments to Al Jazeera.
"I have terrible chest pain, at times I can't seem to get enough oxygen, and I'm constantly tired with pains all over my body. At times I'm pissing blood, vomiting dark brown stuff, and every pore of my body is dispensing water."
His symptoms mirror those which scores of other Gulf Coast residents have told to Al Jazeera, all of them also having had their blood tests reveal chemicals in BP's oil.
Yet Aguinaga's hardships have not ended with his health problems.
"After we got back from our vacation in Florida, Merrick went to work for a company contracted by BP to clean up oil in Grand Isle, Louisiana. Two weeks after that he dropped dead."
New battles
This Spring Aguinaga filed a lawsuit against BP in hopes of obtaining compensation for his deteriorating health.
Aguinaga's attorney encouraged him with the prospect of setting a precedent for other health-related lawsuits against BP. But instead of bringing Aguinaga relief, the process has turned his life upside down.
Within 30 days of filing the lawsuit, Aguinaga had his home in Hazelhurst, Mississippi broken into.

In December 1993, Alyeska Pipeline Service Co. agreed to a multi-million dollar settlement of an invasion-of-privacy lawsuit by whistleblower Chuck Hamel and his associates, that resulted from a spying campaign that Alyeska had mounted against him. Hamel had tipped off regulators and Congress about alleged environmental wrongdoing along the Trans-Alaska pipeline.
At the time, Alyeska, which runs the pipeline for the oil companies, was owned by BP and Exxon/Mobile, among other oil companies, as it is today. Wackenhut's operation was shut down after it had run for seven months by Alyeska's owner oil companies.
Alyeska did not contest that during its campaign against Hamel, its operatives from Wackenhut security it had hired to spy on him had secretly taped his phone calls, searched his mail, garbage, phone and credit card records (and those of his associates), and even employed attractive female operatives to try to entice Hamel into admissions or actions that might have discredited him.
"Alyeska hired Wackhenhut to basically find the people who were leaking information to Congress and newspapers about the safety issues along the pipeline," Garde said. "Wackenhut at the time had a special investigations department that undertook this task with vigour, and carried out this campaign against Alyeska's critics."
The case eventually became the subject of Congressional hearings and lawsuits, and has all become public record.
While some of the tactics might sound sensational - the stuff of Hollywood movies - Garde cautions those who may write it off.
"When people say you're just paranoid, and that this kind of stuff doesn't happen, I say yes it does."

Some cases though when there is medical evidence from a lot of sources, it's more like beating a dead horse. But BP execs aren't known for having common sense, more like the almighty dollar.

About a month after I started to publish my analyses of BP's fraud and criminality in the Macondo Blowout, my house was broken into. They shorted the mains and burnt every electronic and electrical appliances which were plugged in, for more than 4 minutes. Many of the plug points melted. Over 10 LCDs, TVs, UPSes, cables, cctv cameras, computers were burnt and destroyed beyond repair. Luckily the house did not burn down. The date.....September 11 2010.

If not daily it is weekly, that's not "weakly" that I read of the Poison in the Gulf. The Bacteria that is Skin Eating Flesh disease, where someone in Texas, Alabama, Georgia or Florida is admitted into a Hospital and a YouTube video pops up where these "persons" were just WALKING, Not Swimming, Just Walking along the Shores of the Gulf and suddenly find themselves in the IC Unit with the Doctors cutting their Limbs off because of this Flesh Eating Bacteria as they try to stop it's spread.
Then there are "Other Reports" of the same thing, Except these were just "Eating" Fish from the Gulf and the same symptoms start. The Doctors say it is because these have compromised Immune Systems. That could include from sexually transmitted or from using Medicines that destroy their Liver or Kidneys. But in General, You never know until these symptoms hit you and your in the ICU with your life at stake. Out of most of these, The Patient dies anyway.
Now we know how the Fish and the rest of the Aquatic life feel.

One could only figure that after screwing this planet and her oceans over for years, That it is time the Earth throws all this Poison back at us. Why can't they admit the fact that these marine and fresh water mass killing is related to toxicity in the water due to release of harmful gases like light hydrocarbon and H2S? These gases may not be from the Macondo reservoir but earlier gas accummulation which had been lying dormant and recently triggered to release by the swarms of shallow quakes since the Macondo Blowout. In the Mass Depletion theory, as tons of methane hydrate evaporate (as the result of Macondo hot oil coming to the near seafloor and disturbing the equilibrium) there is bound to be stress release adjustment.
It is so obvious why all these are occurring now and yet they are still trying to protect BP by deflecting blame to high temp & cloudy Days.....Give me a break. It is just the same with the observed abnormal dead dolphins which started in March 2010. Just because the abnormal deaths started a month before the Macondo Blowout (and BP kept pointing to this to absolve blame) doesn't prove BP's Macondo Blowout was not the cause. In fact it proves the case of BP indiscriminate drilling since FeB releasing toxic drilling mud fluid and gases that had been trapped earlier in the shallow formation naturally. It also proves the fragile faulted geology of the Macondo Prospect and I suspect many other Gulf deepwater prospects bordering the continental shelf zone.
