* Pennsylvania natgas well blows out during fracking

* Local residents have been evacuated

NEW YORK, April 20 (Reuters) - A natural gas well was spilling thousands of gallons of fracking fluid water in Pennsyvlania on Wednesday after a blowout during the process of fracturing the bedrock, state and local regulators said.

The well, operated by Chesapeake Energy (CHK.N: Quote), suffered a blowout during the process of hydraulic fracturing, or fracking, the state environmental regulators said. .

The well began spewing water at 11.45 p.m. on Tuesday and local residents have been evacuated from Leroy Township, Bradford County, the company said in a statement. No one was hurt, it said.

"An equipment failure occurred during well-completion activities, allowing the release of completion fluids," the statement said.

Chesapeake Gas Blowout on 20 April 2011.

The well began spewing water at 11.45 p.m. on Tuesday and local residents have been evacuated from Leroy Township, Bradford County, the company said in a statement.

BP Macondo Gas Blowout on 20 April 2010.

~21:45 hours—Assistant driller called the senior toolpusher to report that “The well is blowing out . . . [the toolpusher] is shutting it in now.”

~22:00 Transfer of 115 personnel, including 17 injured, to M/V Damon Bankston. 11 people were determined to be missing, and search and rescue activities ensued. U.S. Coast Guard arrived on-site at 23:22 hours.

Real-time data Interviews MBI testimony, Well Control Response.

Not only were the two blowouts occur on the same day of April, the blowout occurred on the same minute of the hour (45 minutes) 2 hours of each other. Now we have another Chesapeake gas blowout at Oklahoma on 5 Jan 2012.

Both Chesapeake blowouts occur in the vicinity of the The Madrid Fault zone; an intra-plate tectonic plate boundary which had stressed for thousands of years. Is it a mere coincidence that the BP Macondo Blowout occurred a year earlier at the pivot point of the tectonic stress model?

No Jay the times were quoted as per their local time as per the articles seeded. Understand that there may be a 1 hour or 2 hours difference. The Macondo blowout was based on CDT as I understand it.

What Really Happened at the Chesapeake Blowout

At approximately 7:00 PM on April 20, after consultation with the well control team, and to mitigate further risk to personnel and equipment, plans were finalized to mobilize the completions crew and all non-essential equipment off location. Equipment was removed, the primary containment was repaired, the location was cleared, and all ignition sources were removed from location. This work continued until 11:15 PM, when the Lower Explosive Limit (“LEL”) monitors registered low methane levels at the wellhead. At this time the location was cleared of personnel and equipment and secured until daylight.
