A cave-in along Bukit Timah Road towards Woodlands Road caused a heavy jam on Wednesday afternoon, local media reported.

The cave-in along a drain embankment at the junction of Bukit Timah Road and Clementi Road reportedly occurred on Tuesday night.

Out of the four lanes, two lanes on Bukit Timah Road were closed to traffic. Maintenance crews have been carrying out roadworks since 10pm, Tuesday, to fill the holes, daily freesheet Today reported.
