A clip from BBC's documentary Deepwater Disaster - BP Oil Spill. At min 13:10 of the original video, BP clearly admitted an explosion was detonated in an attempt to stop the oil flow. "....Out of options, an explosive charge was detonated inside the BOP,,,,"
This is tantamount to confessing that BP and USCG committed perjury by lying to Congress. Both BP and USCG confirmed that there was a second explosion which broke the Marine Riser and sank the burning DWH wreck at 10:22 CDT 22 April 2010.
BP had always maintained that the BOP could not be removed, partially dismantled or opened in anyway for fear of aggravating the gushing and unstable rogue well. So how was the explosive device inserted inside the BOP for the deliberate detonation?
For the uniformed public, all evidence confirmed the well was not freely flowing with Macondo crude before this detonation at 17:22 CDT 22 April 2010. The blow-out on on 20 April 2010 was only shallow gas blow-out with gas influx within 10,000ft and not at the bottom of the well at 18,360ft as BP, Haliburton and Transocean had planned and scripted.
At no point in time, did BP state officially that they would seal the flowing well with explosives.
Pet Campbell (CEO of Wild Well Control) confirmed that the" BOP rocked a little bit and that tells me it did fire and when that didn't seal it off, we have a really really big problem." BBC: "what were you thinking at that point?" PC: "Ooh...this is going to be bad!"
This is where BP and all accomplices to this hideous crime of mass destruction are caught up with their lies, deception and cover-up. Did this "detonation" occur before or after the "bending of the riser"? Either answer would further implicate BP and be totally inconsistent with BP's official version of the Deepwater Horizon blowout.
